This policy explains what personal information Anashim Mishelanu (R.A.) / אנשים משלנו, Israeli nonprofit registration no. 580759579, referred to below as "Our People," "we," or "us," collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
It applies to ourpeople.org.il and all related pages, registration forms, mailing lists, and donation pages.
1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of ourpeople.org.il and all related pages, registration forms, and donation pages, which belong to Anashim Mishelanu (R.A.) / אנשים משלנו, Israeli nonprofit registration no. 580759579 (referred to below as "Our People" or "the organization").
By using the site, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. About the organization
Our People is a nonprofit organization registered in Israel that works with Russian-speaking immigrant families. Our activities include educational and family programs, camps, community events and support for families.
3. Using the site
You agree to:
— provide accurate information when registering or making a donation;
— refrain from using the site for any unlawful purpose;
— refrain from attempting unauthorized access to our systems, disrupting the site, or uploading malicious code;
— refrain from copying site materials for commercial use without our written permission.
We may restrict access for any user who violates these terms.
4. Donations
— Donations are voluntary and are not made in exchange for goods or services.
— Amounts are stated in Israeli new shekels (₪) unless otherwise indicated.
— Payments are processed through Nedarim Plus. We do not store full credit card details.
— Following a successful transaction, confirmation and, where applicable, a receipt will be provided using the contact details supplied.
— Donations are used for the organization’s nonprofit purposes. Where a particular campaign has ended or a program cannot be carried out, funds may be used in accordance with the applicable campaign terms and legal requirements.
— Cancellation and refund arrangements are described in our Customer Service Policy.
Recurring donations. Recurring donations continue according to the selected frequency until cancelled. Cancellation is handled in accordance with the Customer Service Policy.
5. Event registration
— One registration covers one family unless otherwise stated.
— Registration is completed after the requirements stated for the relevant event have been fulfilled, including payment where applicable, and confirmation has been received.
— Places may be limited and registration may close early.
— We may change an event’s time, location or program, or cancel the event. Registered participants will be notified using the contact information provided.
— Cancellation and refund arrangements are described in our Customer Service Policy.
6. Photography at events
Photography and video may take place at Our People events.
For minor participants, photography or video followed by use of the resulting materials for reports, the website and/or the organization’s official social media channels is subject to separate affirmative consent from a parent or legal guardian where required.
Consent is requested through a separate checkbox or another affirmative action and is not pre-selected.
Where photography or video consent is not necessary for the nature of a particular program, declining consent will not prevent a child from participating.
For adult participants, the organization provides appropriate notice of photography or video and obtains consent where required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
Site content, including text, photographs, illustrations, logos, designs, PDF materials and other files, belongs to the organization or is lawfully used by it and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Personal, non-commercial use with attribution is permitted where appropriate unless otherwise stated. Other uses may require the permission of the relevant rights holder.
8. Limitation of liability
Information on the site is provided for general informational purposes. We seek to keep it current, but information concerning immigrant rights, government benefits, procedures or other regulated matters should also be verified through the relevant official government sources.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the organization is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from use of the site or for temporary technical unavailability.
9. External links
The site may contain links to third-party websites or services.We do not control their content or privacy practices. Use of those resources is governed by the relevant third party’s terms and policies.
10. Privacy and communications
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Consent to receive news, program announcements and other marketing communications by Email and/or WhatsApp is provided separately and is not a condition of using the website, registering for an event or making a donation unless otherwise permitted or required by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable Israeli law.
